Feels like using a TV movie is cheating.

Are there actual bad trailers, or just ones working from awful source material? Trying to think of a time a trailer made the movie look worse than it was and I'm struggling. Will forever be bitter about The Score being spoiled in the ad campaign though.

If I didn't know better, watching this I'd be thinking, why did Cronenburg direct a straight to video UniSol sequel? Rad movie, unfortunate marketing and release.

Also, 'murica does it less now, but I can't stand trailers with the sultry marketing man voice over

Allow me to nominate this trailer that I saw dozens of times as a kid because it was on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze VHS.

It's fine though, because the Suburban Commando trailer was also on there.

i remember seeing this trailer and thinking it was just another shitty lock stock knockoff. taking all the least subtle moments and trite moments of a wonderfully atmospheric and original film and putting an electric guitar behind it.

i remember people being upset about this film vs. the trailers, for making it look like full metal jacket or whatever, i think the music choice kinda indicates that it was deliberate... i liked it much more for what it is

i will forever love that a script about people being transformed into raging hulk beasts by having an extra chromosome made it all the way into production.

Saw doom in theaters, and I bought the dvd as soon as it dropped. Great movie. Did not disappoint.
