The bugs are running pretty wild with this game right now, I'm guessing it's because there's a big update brewing. Really hope for some major changes to the map when the new season drops, it's a lot easier to get wins with this map but I can't get past how sniper-friendly it is.

Having not played season 3 at all I have no idea where any loot is

Gone to the party ship with all the mirages a few times where my party proceeds to get the vault key by shooting something

Definitely agree with the general sentiment that the map favors snipers, my aim is trash so I'm not feeling it

ever since they patched in duos trios have become way easier. All the try hards and sweats are in duos now. I can drop a 9 kill game and get squad wipes again

I played this randomly the other night after my Titanfall 2 time, and on the second drop I couldn't find anything in the building we landed near except ammo, all the sudden there's like dudes everywhere too. So I threw out the heal beacon thing and just tried to keep my teammates up and jump meleeing anyone who came near me. We all died but I got "MOST DAMAGE" in the trio somehow.

The game is in a very good place rn! Some good changes! I'm mostly playing ranked because apex university dudes say if you're playing solo and want to get better theres no reason not to. I'll dump videos or one big road to gold video this weekend probably.

Pathfinder change isn't even too bad, it just means all the pro spider-men have to actually think before they enter combat. No more "free" escapes or super positioning mid fights. Loba working like I figured she would, a rising favorite for the solo tryhard selfish assholes but a good one can pull some clutch armor swap shit for the whole squad.

Didn't miss matchmaking giving only 1 teammate in trios, or someone disconnecting when a respawn is still viable, or getting wiped as soon as you land, but that first solo squad wipe (almost) makes up for it

Good advice on ranked, had more success there (1 whole win) than normal, even in bronze IV which seems rife for smurfs, I did get carried hard though so jurys out on that

Only realized after reading around how gimped lifeline is now, with the gibby and mirage buffs they do her job better than her

Honestly like a lot of games it seems, ranked is never really scary and is usually the better experience. Especially if you enjoy playing even half seriously. Siege ranked can be stressfully but it's usually way less toxic than pubic matches etc. If you're gonna talk I find opening with a joke or being silly works best. After that ppl will just automatically defer to you for leadership. It's really weird but it works like 8/10 times.

Yeah I'm not to worried. She's not even really weak right now, she's just "sub-optimal" if you're tyring to min-max. Her rez shield is still great, still nice having a heal even if it's slow. Everyone right now is in okay to great place. This recent patch put Bloodhound around where they should have been from jump. Scan is now super useful, and you get it often enough that it's great, but not too often that it's oppressive to the enemy teams/squads. Mirage actually has utility now.

Crypto, Octane and Rev are probably in the worst spots rn. Crypto's kit isn't even that bad but he's not an easy to use legend and a bad player can hurt your team. Rev's passive is really fucking nice, but his ult sucks and while his tactical is nice I don't think its ever made a huge difference in fights or before fights. Octane has nothing that feels useful. I read somewhere that they should give him a double jump or allow him to jump father passive would be great and i kinda like the sound of that. Idk what you could do with him.

Recently gotten back into apex and man this game is so good. The combat is so fun and refreshing compared to warzone. I love that you can be aggressive instead of camping your nuts off 24/7 like in warzone.

And man I love duos. The combat is so much more controllable in that mode.
