Yup that part is great. They were - and still are in some ways  - so far ahead of everyone else in rap. Plus their live shows are amazing. Most live rap seems to consist of 20 people on stage screaming the lyrics out over the DJ playing the actual track. I love seeing guys like Kanye bring back the more organic sound of actual instruments into live shows

Kid Rock is great. I'm biased cause I'm from Michigan but still, I like him fuck the haters.

I love the way he's able to mix so many different forms of music - rap, country, rock, etc - and make it interesting. I don't like country outside of Johnny Cash but I can listen to his country-esque stuff. And he makes great vintage rock stuff too.

I just wish he'd stop trying to basically remake his previous hits. So much of his new stuff is just him trying to make another "Only God Knows Why" or "Bawitdaba"

I'll give yuo the fact that he puts on a good live show. I saw him open for Aerosmith when I was in high school and I was half-tempted to go to the concert late just to miss his set, but I didn't and I was VERY impressed with him. Still don't like him, but he's really good live.
