I loved the original but couldn't last more than 2-3 hours in the sequel. I don't even know why I hated it, but it just didn't grab me like the first.

I forgot all about that, but I guess it did make sense, also what made it such a sleeper hit.

Game was just so simple and the jumping and collecting of orbs so satisfying

The first game was so ahead of its time. They accomplished smooth design and code for networked co-op gameplay stuff that Saint Row 2 was having trouble with a year later, and still hadn't really got straight by SR3 in 2011.

Crackdown 2 was dogshit

Havent looked at anything about Crackdown 3, dont have much interest personally. Maybe rent on Gamefly or wait till game is like $10 after a week
