I like to eat it only the night it's prepared. I'm rarely picky with food, but unlike most seafood, for some reason shrimp is thrown into a whole assortment of stuff: gumbos, soups, salads, et al. It's fine the night it's first prepared, but shrimp has a very, very short shelf life in how fast it goes from good to utter crap. If you make something like a gumbo, that would or should last a week and put shrimp in it, it'll taste like shit by day two. I ordered a salad from Pappa's and it's been in my fridge the past two days. It had some damn shrimp in it and now my salad isn't quite as good as it could have been. Thankfully taking the shirmp out of it helped endured the taste but if it were gumbo or something I would have been shit out of luck.
Shrimps is only good on the night it's prepared, other than it sucks balls.
