Used to feel the opposite, but I find myself recently feeling nostalgic for the early 90s.  Like '90-'92.  Fuck the mid-90s* though.  :yuck

I wasn't a fan of a lot of music at that point- found more stuff in the late 90s I liked.  Same with the clothes.

Has to do with the times- for me it was junior high/early high school and I hadn't "discovered" a lot of the music I'd later like yet.  Heard mostly alternative rock/grunge shit, which I just hated.

Yes, it got big then, but was still big in the mid 90s.  Hated most of it.  It always made me feel depressed.  :-\

Yeah, I guess it's hard to decide where early 90's ends and mid 90's begins. It's only a span of five years.

I actually really loved the 90s. Okay I can't remember the early years but what I do remember is pretty much great all of it. All the pop culture  :delicious That's some strong nostalgia, man.

I've recently started to reminisce about some teen magazines of the 90s, there was one my sister always read that had such cool collage type illustrations and then they'd come with all this extra crap that was so fun as a kid. And one German magazine had pictures of naked people in it and that was cool because well naked people (I think some were actually like 16-17 :doge), where the hell did you get to see that back then.

The 90s,

The 90's were great.

I was like 7 or 8 when Red Alert came out and 9 or 10 when StarCraft launched.
Having an older teenage brother was awesome because he got the grown up stuff and I got the Pokemon.
My neighbours had the Genesis, we had the late gen NES stuff and PC, another dude had the SNES and N64. Life was good.

The LEGO got better each year as did the video games and movies.
As a kid it was just waiting to see what sort of cool thing was around the corner next.
From Tamagotchi to the first McDonalds opening in our town. New shit got invented every day.

Then like in the first year of high school the adults had to fuck up the entire world by flying 2 planes into an office building just as I had blown up the same building in Red Alert 2 and everyone FREAKED THE FUCK OUT.

Goodbye good times. Hello #latestagecapitalism

I know it's a meme to blame millenials for everything. But they really fucked up the 90's. It was all cool until they started hitting their teenage years and corporations started marketing towards them.

It wasn't Gen-x that made Spice Girls, Limp Bizkit, Blair Witch Project and Family Guy popular.

You know what I DON'T miss about the 90's? Is when you hotlink and image on a message board because you're too lazy to save it and re-host it on your Photobucket account and the website that you hotlinked from sets you up with a stupid gotcha message because no one has bandwidth in the 90's and everyone in the forum starts dunking on you.

Might have been early 2000's tho

What I don't miss about the 90's is LAN multiplayer.

You'd spend 2 hours setting everything up and trying to connect with the right IP's and shit.
And just about as you near the end of your game, BOOM CRASH CONNECTION ERROR.

Saving and loading multiplayer games in Starcraft was a god send.
And I believe to this day it is still the only game with that feature.
