Rocky didn't have the dude in a choke hold though so I don't see why he was held for 2 weeks or whatever. Seems like some cac shit tbh.

because he and three others beat up some afghani kid in the street, allegedly cutting him with a bottle they first broke over his head

the dude doing the choking isn't even charged afaik

There are some amazing Twitter responses to that.

Also, the artist has said that he loves drawing his characters that way and gives no fucks, but it's not like One Piece isn't full of characters of all shapes and sizes.

its a little known fact, but studies show that interrogating someone you've just met and want to have sex with over something they obviously don't want to talk about is one of the most erotic activities known to man

I mean you can keep whatever you want to yourself but even if asking is rude, if you don't answer Im gonna assume the worst and think you voted for Trump. So you might as well come out and say it or Im just gonna believe it either way and you can go fuck yourself. I have never had an issue saying who I voted for, ever. Don't be fucking weird. Its like how people take issue with discussing how much they make, why the fucking secrecy? Ill just google that shit.

I once had a date where someone refused to tell me who they voted for in 2016. Spent an hour trying to get it out of them. For some reason they were taking me asking very personally. They are southern and Caucasian (and extremely well off) if that matters?

One piece is one of the ugliest fucking shows ever

You nerds might like it but be honest with yourselves

One piece is the best comic book of all time as its sales will eventually prove because it will be the best selling comic book of all time. Kiss my ass. The anime is whatever. Expecting for its sales to eclipse Batman’s lifetime sales  this year.

That art is terrible;  some of those look like terrible boob jobs.

To be fair, those are all taken from the TV series, which has inconsistent art.

But the author, Oda, likes those proportions and doesn't care.  His comic sells more than everything else so I don't think most of the audience cares, either.  My wife hates pervy-anime shows, but totally stans for One Piece.

Oda: Yes. Hello. It's drawing time at the SBS segment. I would suggest that you think of a woman's proportions as "three circles, one X". Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be leaving.

(I only draw this kind of body, so I get a lot of complaint postcards from my female audience. Let's all stay strong and keep on living life.)

Maybe it's time I put away all of my self respect and dignity and start a furry porn art patreon.

Shit, don't do the furry porn. Just do drawn porn. You'd fill a niche within a niche: Non-furry porn.

The animu's art is horrible. Oda's art in the mango is supremely better but still perverted. The SBS question corner is nothing but perverted questions.

BMI is more useful as a way of measuring populations;  the percentage of people who are obese.. because it'll average out.

BMI works pretty great for the most part. For my height you can have a healthy BMI between like 110 and 140. That’s a massive gap and pretty reasonable.

BMI works if you’re proportioned normally.  For example my mom is 5’1” and my dad is 6’2”.  I’m 5’9” with a tall persons torso and a midgets 28” inseam.  The absolute lowest I can weigh is 200lbs when BMI says I should be 160lb.  That said, fat acceptance is definitely on the crazy side but BMI isn’t perfect either.  :trumps

200lbs is fat, fatty

Lonewulf, are you sure that’s the lowest you can weigh? What makes you so sure? “Maybe my body is just meant to be this weight” is often a coping mechanism/defense to defend why you’re not losing any more weight. I know where you’re coming from and it sucks but you can do it. What are you eating and what’s your energy out look like? Are you highly active?

I used to buy the One Piece and Naruto manga back when they first came to the US  :jgames

One thing Oda (?) used to comment on, he had his own Q&A and commentary sections, was that he had to learn quickly how to draw women since he was terrible at it. I think he even poked fun as some same-face going on between a couple characters. He later went on about adapting it into a style or whatever, but I think most of One Piece turned into this ridiculous cartoon as it went on.

I actually think that one of the few things One Piece has going on is its crazy art and world design. It's impressive how he's been able to keep it going with consistently fresh settings/people.

Reading that ps4 digital sales thread, I can’t believe people like inserting discs and shit as part of the gaming experience. As a weirdo who bought a switch and never uses it as a handheld, god I wish I had gone digital with it. Extracting the damn system from switch scratching dock, and swapping carts is the worst. Now I fully expect nothing I buy on a console digitally to carry over to the next generation (especially from Nintendo), but man is it a PITA with switch. For the few games I play with physical versions on it I wish I could go back and buy them digitally instead, just for the convenience.

Also I don’t really understand collecting physical games for systems beyond the ps2 generation. The 360 generation you get systems hounding you for logins, profiles, and possibly dlc downloads from servers that are (or will be) gone. And then this gen you get a 1.0 (if you’re lucky) of a game on the disc, with the other half of its content as a season pass download.

I mean at least with digital on pc if shit goes south for valve with steam, you're just a cracked .exe away from playing your games again.

Well that’s good, for the games that have those versions at least. As someone who went from consoles to pc in 2002 and hardly looks back, it just seems like gaming on consoles nowadays inherited a lot of the drawbacks of pc gaming (patches, and now even hardware upgrades lol), and almost none of the perks (besides a small amount of modding allowed here and there).

A lot of the limited production run "collectable" game releases that come from publishers like Limited Run Games and Super Rare Games aren't released until the developer has stopped releasing patches and come "finished."

There's also a lot more Vita and Switch releases that come complete and I think is a big reason why people prefer to collect for those platforms over the disc-based ones.

Meh. Don't get me wrong I was :rage when reading that message but pets having mediocre owners didn't start with overweight people. Flat pets getting fat is not uncommon regardless of how good a diet their owners keep (lack of enough exercice is often the reason why). Quite a fair proportion of cats will do a decent enough job at regulating themselves even if they have food at their disposal all day.

Bring any overweight pet to a vet-- I guarantee they are going to warn them how dangerous it is for an animal to be overweight.  Our dog gained like a pound once and we were told to get that weight off ASAP (Was actually super easy to do, thankfully).

But I guess you would have to get off the couch and go waddle outside to get to a vet and that's not going to happen with these idiots.  Do they even WALK their dogs?  :-\

Sure but this person researched food proportions for their pet, dismisses the idea of a diet (or in their words, “diet”) and says it doesn’t need any of this: you can be healthy and every size with humans so why not animals?

This is its own kind of animal abuse.

Not for my body type!  :expert

The poor animals :brazilcry

These people are fucking delusional- there is nothing healthy about being overweight.  It's hard to shed the pounds, yeah- doesn't matter.  Stop being in denial and start working to do something about it.  Otherwise you deserve to be called a lazy, fat fuck.
 :ufup

The worst part is they’re now involving other sentient life. These people shouldn’t be allowed to have pets. Imagine them talking this way about their own children.

by the way, that pic with the fat Labrador has a happy ending

Looks good to me

:idont

That's the manga though. Oda's actual drawings (with assistants that do the background work, he draws ALL the characters if I remember the SBS question he answered right).

I have the Thriller Bark scene of this in my Netflix-for-Mango thread that I made for Pogi. But you can basically compare the art above to this and just know that Oda not doing the animu art is disappointing because his art-style is consistent whereas the animu's is :trash

seriously. at least the person answering the question stressed the importance of exercise. it might be my own prejudice talking here but i'm pretty sure the person asking the question was just looking for validation to feed their dog the same shitty food they eat themselves

and imagining them talking about their children that way wasn't particularly hard tbh  :-\

The responder is still like, take your pet to a health at every size vet, basically a vet that agrees that pets should be able to eat whatever they want with no repercussion.
