'I want the thing to be bigoted so that I can rally against it' should be Era's new slogan.
Honestly in the wake of a lot of legit transphobic bullshit, that's a really shitty thing to say. I agree that this ain't it but people are quick to jump in because we have sincerely transphobic shit flung at us every day of our lives.

Watches anime.

Is shocked when it turns out to be generic trash.

The Manga is in no way better than the anime, because the Manga uses the rape portions as wank material, including nipples, where at other portions when not in these rape situations, it censors the nipples away. The Manga is far more gratuitous about what people dislike about Goblin Slayer, than the anime ever dared to be.

I love when someone is absolutely disgusted by some media but also consumed every little bit of it

I understand, but this forum designs machinations of hate with everything in our culture. There's too much cry-wolf and it honestly makes the world seem worse than it truly is. I understand there's a lot of bad shit out there, but the cultural tone around here is so damn cynical and finger-pointing. It's just damn tiring.

Let's ask a bunch of randos on the internet, not the people who invited me.

Quote
So my GF gets kind of intense about the idea of weddings. A good high school friend who I’ve only been in sporadic touch with over the past few years invited me to his wedding. The invite didn’t mention anything about a guest or +1.

I mentioned that I was going to my GF and she asked if she could come As my +1. She got pretty upset with me when I told her that I didn’t want her to go because it wasn’t clear if I was allowed to bring a date.

Matrimony experts of Era, Is it assumed that you can alway bring a +1 to the wedding even if not stated?

Apparently it was at around 7.8GB because of the update (wtf microsoft) so I changed the minimum to 3GB and maximum to 4.9GB, that fixed the bootup problem.

I've recently booked a holiday to Tokyo next year and i'm in two minds about what to eat. I've been vegan over a year now and don't think twice about it but after doing some research it looks like i'll be missing out on a whole lot if i didn't try the street food and the ramen etc. Of course there's vegan options and places to eat but the food looks so damn good. I'm worried about if i'll be able to go back 100% plant based when i'm home.

I originally went vegan for health and energy benefits plus getting a dog changed my mind on the impact of animal agriculture.

Anyone ever had this predicament?

 :brain :brain :brain

That's actually a fairly normal question people have- it can be hard being a vegetarian or vegan and eating over there.

But the worrying over it is classic REEEEEEE.

Zero, but it paints a pretty shit image of straight men.

Like of zero empathy where women are not human beings to be loved, but tits and asses to be masturbated to. It also paints the picture that your dick is not one of the ALL MASCULINE FEATURES (which is pretty trans inclusive) that were enhanced.

It paints an even more incel picture than the newer joker movie ever could since it shows zero relationships or sex in itself, but yeah feel free to call it "for straight men"

I love that comic because it's such a blatant, practical application of Era's ability to parse art vs their need for anger. The entire thing is predicated on the understanding of the author's self insert as trans when its just a dude who doesnt conform to the gender binary, and instead of realizing that there was never a trans person in the comic to be phobic of, they double down and say "well you cant blame me for assuming he was trans, how dare the artist put something out there that allowed me to make a dumbass assumption apropo of nothing". Take the L, christ.  :lol

Doesn't a party imply food and refreshments...

oh..oh god.

I hear you have to have at least three packets of crisps with a drink to ensure it's a party and not alcoholism.

I had a buddy who used to throw on his amateur hidden cam porn for whoever was over... it got back to one of the girls involved and he legit had these huge dudes show up to his house threatening him and asking him to hand over the tapes...

... and he did.  LOL, tapes that included him fucking a few different girls.

I’m usually numb to this stuff, but I was really struck by the normalization of drinking at breakfast, like that isn’t an alarming alcoholism red flag.
but it isn't?
