Like most writers Frank's posted about his old writing being bad and embarrassing but whenever I come across it in these old magazines it's not as bad as what he produces on ResetERA.com daily.

I am excluding anything from British magazines that aren't EDGE, because those magazines in the mid-1990s are all written as if in some kind of contest to produce the most embarrassing published English content ever. *Cue a bunch of wankers exposing themselves with fond memories of GamesMaster, Total! and Super Play*

User Banned (3 Days): Inflammatory Language; Using a Dehumanizing Meme

tweet dumb shit -> multiple people tell you why you're wrong -> "i'm being harrassed, why are fans x/y/z so toxic"

Day in, day out you see these writers (who should be experts in their own field) acting like NPCs, repeating the exact same bullet points that might as well be straight from Epic's press releases about competition being good. It's getting very tiresome. Doesn't feel like the coverage is very balanced at all.

I am preparing a new thread about the Epic Games Store controversy that will function as a beginner's guide and FAQ. The idea is to answer is many of these questions as possible in order to just link to that thread whenever someone asks these questions in another thread. Hopefully it will help in keeping the other threads cleaner.
Wait, hold up!
I'm literally doing something like this myself right now, no kidding. That's the shitpost I was talking about on the other forum.

I'm currently at 5 pages in MSWord. 😂

Wanna butt heads together? I could upload the stuff I have on MC.

It's mostly lengthy replies to the common arguments that pop up + some explanations on how things like key resellers work.
MODS MODS MODS DEHUMANIZING STOREFRONT PREFERENCES, VILIFYING JOURNALISM, PLANNING MOB JUSTICE, ETC. GET TO WORK THIS WHOLE "STEAM" THREAD IS A DISASTER SHUT IT DOWN AGAIN AND REBOOT AS EPIC GAMES STORE OT PLS THX

Still blows my mind that Enzom21 hasn't posted. How many years did he dedicate to Gaf+resetera? Maybe they asked him to prove he wasn't lying about his ethnicity on the discord and he couldn't so he noped out. Surprised he didn't even try to wiggle out of it. Maybe he has alts or something so he doesn't care.

Probaby went with a name change. He couldn't just leave he would be lost with out it.

Can we get the publishing rights for Frank O‘Connor‘s correspondence?

Benji can you sort this? We can spin this as a historical monography and make some sweet bucks when we sell it to university libraries. :money

Instead of the excitement from banning a bunch of users for their post-April Fools Day APPROVED FUN they should have let JordanN post anything he wanted on ResetERA.com for 24 hours.

lmao so they were going to ban people manually for this, then they discovered, six hours ago, a way to do it automatically, and they're also going to live stream it

Quote from: Hecht
list is randomized for Thanos.exe

I'll clarify how the script works. I randomized the list of entries. The script will then pit each person against another person. One will get snapped, the other won't. I thought that might be a fun way to ensure 50% get snapped.

They should not go through with that. Instead of banning 50% of these users, they should post one of Frank O‘Connor‘s screeds on how global warming will wipe out 50% of the population in 12 years IF YOU DON’T DONATE HERE with an aside about Israel and Hillary Ciinton.

Well, we will know who he is when some random white guy starts begging to be called a distinguished black fellow.

Enzom would often tell stories about groups of other boys holding him down, spitting on him, and calling him The One True Word of Penance.  Either he was a light skinned black guy that was harassed by white kids, light skinned and harrased by black kids, a guy who got bullied (for some crazy reason,)  or just lying the entire time. Or maybe some some teen in Chappaqua threw a milkshake at him and called him the the n-word and his superhero schema was born.

I forgot my point.  Strange guy though.

So I started physically putting myself close to her more often. I would follow her around. I would lean against her. I would intentionally try to pass by her and put my hands on her as I did. I would schedule the two of us to work the same nights. I would send other people home so it was just the two of us. I would keep her late so we could talk alone in the office. I don't know if she ever expected anything. I think, to her, we were just good work friends. I started to get frustrated that nothing was happening.

So I started physically putting myself close to her more often. I would follow her around. I would lean against her. I would intentionally try to pass by her and put my hands on her as I did. Finally, one time, I followed her into a small stock room. I stood in the doorway and watched her and knew she wouldn't be able to leave the room without squeezing by me or asking me to move. I wanted her to touch me. So I intentionally blocked her exit.

Twitter thread caught my attention this morning and I wanted to contribute something of substance before getting banned later. For love of God, I hope I get snapped.

Anita Sarkeesian complaining about being harrassed on twitter?
Can't she understand that people were trying to change society for the better by refusing to tolerate views contrary to the world they wanted to create?

I remember receiving this same example of what sexual harassment was when I was was a busboy at 14 and thinking what a giant dad move it was.  And he did it.  And now I post under his thumb.
