It just looks ridiculous when enumerated out like that, but it's essentially, "Be normal.  Don't bother people." Which is part of the decorum rules of every venue.  A bit virtue-signaly to splay it like that.

Literally all of those rules are just basic human decency.

Far too much to expect from the type of person who'd go to a Star Wars convention

I don't see what's wrong with the mini pizzas

My only criticism would be that there is way too much olive to pizza ratio

Maybe that is the whole point

No such thing as too many olives. :mouf

But don‘t just throw them and canned mushrooms on a pizza without slicing them. :goldberg

Also don‘t use stuffed olives. :holeup

It feels like a right-wing talking point because it is - rush limbaugh coined the phrase.

Look at this loser not understanding that when a term enters the mainstream, it has been overused in academia for years, sometimes even decades. :stahp

Also, her core point was wrong. She claimed CAIR was founded as a response to September 11.

(CAIR was actually founded in 1994.)
Did you miss the second half of the sentence you quoted? She's not saying CAIR was founded in response to 9/11, she's saying it was founded in response to the reaction to 9/11 (ie American Muslims losing civil liberties). Technically the grammar is wrong for that meaning, but it's a common enough error that ascribing it to factual inaccuracy instead of poor sentence construction is, well, wrong.

The full video of the speech with the full context should have been in the OP to avoid people here just focusing on what the islamophobes want you to focus on. How is any of this "idiotic/stupid/asinine/moronic" to some of you?
Quote
CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognised some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.
The only mistake she makes is CAIR wasn't technically founded after 2001 but symbolically it was founded in response to growing islamophobia

As a non-american I'm not automatically :trigger by any mention of the 9th of November, but I can't help but feel that a US Politician giving a prepared speech to a lobbyist group and describing 9/11 as "some people did something" and getting the history of the group you're addressing wrong, did in fact do something stupid.

Nice "Lazy devs" narrative.

I mean... this post is just highlighting what a stupid policy a broad ban on saying "lazy devs" is, because this is a situation where;
  • Game costs the same to consumers on all platforms
  • Game is missing features on one platform
  • They earn more money per sale on the platform missing those features
  • They took a kickback from the shopkeeper of that platform to specifically NOT go on the platform where they could have had those features for free
  • There are well documented examples of how to code that functionality yourself, there are off-the-shelf middlewares that provide that functionality for a price, and there are existing storefronts that provide access to that functionality

Literally everything about whats happened here suggests that they could have spent more time and effort working on one specific platform to bring it up to parity with the others, and that financially that extra time and effort would have been compensated for with both additional revenue per unit sold, AND an initial upfront cash advance for exclusivity on that platform.

I don't know what an era approved adjective for "did not want to do the extra work required" would be

Resetera think Trump won because of Hillary's mail and Assange, not because she was a sub-Obama without the class and first class speaker talent ?   :snoop

Assange is accused of rape, which means to Resetera that he did it and deserve to spend the rest of life in prison, of course. What about Hillary's husband and the dozen of accusations of rape and pedophile behavior ? Or his link to Epstein ?

I'm not from the US and I know the situation better than them. Those monkeys spend so much time on twitter and shit that they forgot most people don't care about what happens on internet. Only a fraction of the american people care about wikileaks and Assange and those people weren't going to vote for Hillary in the first place.

Oh, and why I'm not shocked to read Resetera shit on someone like Snowden ?  :lol A badge of honour for him.

Hillary bought the vote to become the jedi that would face the sith lord trump.

Turns out Hillary being a fucking flip flopping bitch was not enough to overpower the straight talking business master.

But sure blame emails and Assange, maybe she should have Pokemon go'd out of the race, and let Bernie go on to win.

My favourite boomer meme from that election was about that BJ Billy boy got.

its a weird move, that I can kind of understand if you're an indie and you absolutely positively must have a big budget games hand selected licenced music soundtrack, and its not really their fault that you only have access to the Spotify API with express permission from Spotify and only Spotify premium members can make use of...

...but brehs, you could have just gone on fucking soundcloud or bandcamp and found some unsigned artists who'd be willing to let your game have some shit for free for the exposure.

Also music has been around since at least the 40's, there's bound to be tons of useful royalty free, public domain scores and soundtracks.

As a point of note, this is the first year in two fucking decades that any 'new' (as in copyright expired) music has entered the public domain, and that year is 1923.

https://www.resetera.com/threads/fried-chicken-skin-sandwiches-aka-the-best-sandwich.111002/
My Fried Chicken Skin Sandwich "recipe" which can be changed depending on the ingredients. I'm merely giving you the map, it's up to you to find your own way.

Ingredients-
-a few breast or thigh fried chicken pieces (Popeye's is the preferred brand, though you may substitute it with frozen Banquest fried chicken or KFC if you have nothing else)
- a fresh biscuit (this can be substituted with any sort of bread but I find a fresh biscuit takes it to another level)
-honey or cheese (you can have one, but not the other)

Open up the biscuit, rip the skin off the friend chicken and place it gently on the biscuit. Pour some honey on the skin, and add another piece of chicken skin. Place the other half of the biscuit on top. Enjoy!

I started making and eating these things a few months ago when I had a hankering for a BLT but didn't have the blt ingredients. But I did have leftover Popeyes. And they're really good. It's like a bizarro version of a BLT but without the mess of making bacon, needing to have lettuce and tomato and mayo handy.

Has anyone else tried this?

If you have you must also agree it's a top tier sandwich, and in the discussion for best sandwich.
