We all say how vile the Republican party is for blatantly turning a blind eye to the crimes of their leader -- actual felonies committed while in office. Their refusal to hold him accountable for no other reason than that they believe it is politically advantageous to them to do so. And I'm certainly someone who says this. It's loathsome.

But the Democrats are ALSO turning a blind eye to those crimes -- the crimes of the OTHER party's guy -- and for the exact same reason -- they believe it is politically advantageous to them to do so.

I genuinely don't know which is worse, pretending there were no crimes and/or no evidence of crimes, or RECOGNIZING those crimes and STILL not taking action. Crimes were committed. The evidence is written down for us. Congress has a duty to begin impeachment, and they're not doing it.

This is it folks. Pack it up. If Democrats won't hold the other side's guy accountable, then it goes without saying that they would never hold their OWN guy accountable -- so that's it. Politicians can just do whatever the fuck they want. Who cares about laws? Who cares about the actual DUTY of Congress to hold the President accountable?
