I couldn't give less of a shit about Halo, and got bored playing the first one really early on, wandering corridor after identical looking corridor.

But as I understand it, aren't the bad guy you gun down with abandon fleshed out into not actually bad guys, and you move onto a whole different set of bad guys to gun down with abandon?

Because

1. Did THQ directly link and signal boosted a site known for linking to child pornography, both fictitious and real, for around 15 hours on their social media platform? - Yes
2. Did the act increase traffic to the site? - Yes
3. Did the act increase the number of users to the site - Likely, how much is unknown
4. If someone linked those videos of me to the site, is there a chance, no matter how small, that the additional users that the site likely received can cause more redistribution of that material? More so than usual? - Yes
5. Did this event effect my own mental health by making me afraid that more people might have seen, downloaded, and shared that material of me? - Yes, it even brought up my PTSD episodes and forced me to make more therapy appointments as usual.

This is why we need to keep talking about what kind of company THQ Nordic is. Not everyone knows about the events. Which is not surprising considering how fast that was swept under the rug by almost everyone.

I find it astounding that these galaxy brains haven't figured out that if 8chan was hosting or linking to child pornography that the feds would have closed that site down already since it's based in the US.

The fact that the mods allow and condone all the thread shitting/derailing in a thread that has nothing do to with THQN's 8chan debacle is exactly why the industry thinks REE is a joke. They care more about letting the pissbaby wokeatrons run the show than discussing video games on a video game forum.

No, I went there after the Christchurch shooting to see what the guy had said. Not only was everyone there praising him as a hero, one of the posts did have what appeared to be child pornography, at which point I nope'd out of there. It likely eventually got removed, but the fact that I ran across it on my one visit says to me it's very likely there pretty often. 8chan really is a cesspool.

That being said, putting all of 8chan's flaws onto THQ because of an AMA is absolutely absurd.

Man...I actually think after this thread era is going to put the brakes on the train

The thread is completely derailed and now talking about Dragon Quest's Sugiyama while demisexual Galaxy is throwing a pity party

Considering how much they like to control threads for veering into off-topicness and "likelihood of producing valuable discussion" either the copypasta is getting banned or THQN is, it's one or the other

But either choice will have A GROUP OF PEOPLE LEAVING IN DROVES so I don't know

They're going to go to Cerium and say look we need you to make an executive decision

I don't lose sleep at night over milkshakes but ERA definitely wants to have it both ways when it comes to that stuff.

Most THQN threads up to this point have been fairly normal until you finally get THAT POST and then several people respond saying "really? we doing this again?" and it goes back and forth a little

The difference now is you have people posting how they're anxiously awaiting the copypasta

"oh boy that guy's gonna come and do the thing!"

"grab your popcorn everyone"

they really don't have a lot of choices on how to handle this

CANCEL THE UNITED STATES

for real though the chain of logic these people are using

the fact that they are using the internet and also normalizing the concept of forums with usernames that can't be traced back to their real identities, they help promote the idea that others should go online and talk in forums anonymously

even worse, they mention a specific other site which could easily make people curious enough to visit it

with everything they're claiming is on the site, they're actively engaging in the best possible advertisement to send people there, compared to banning mention of it altogether

THQ Nordic pretty much publishes the entirety of the EuroJank RPG library so I won’t be quitting them for anything.  They could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and I’d still buy their games  :trumps

Point being he wouldn't be inventing a conspiracy theory if there never was child porn on 8chan;  so even ardent defenders of 8chan don't deny the child porn existed, they just invent some conspiracy theory to explain why.

I agree, but also I wanted to make fun of ResetBanBot.

You know what's funny, I said back when this shit was fresh on everyone's mind that THQ will likely get away with it and people will just not care about victims like me, they'd just move on.

What I didn't expect is for some people to actually openly mock those that do still care and even go as far as to dismiss the concerns of those that are effected by it, on this forum of all places too. Not only on this thread, but on other THQ threads since.

Just, fuck me, right? It's one thing for people to ignore your concerns, it's another to actively get laughed at for caring or saying get over it. Man, I just woke up and I'm already tired. Might go to bed soon.

:wag

just woke up? bitch its after noon, get your life together

ResetBanBot claims some anti-GG EsJW's uploaded child porn to try to frame 8chan.

So there definitely was child porn on 8chan at some point otherwise I doubt they'd have invented that conspiracy theory.  When the site got tons of attention for it I imagine they scrubbed it though and probably haven't looked back.
Laurelai Bailey likely created /hebe/ as the IRC channel stickied by the board admin was hosted on his server. Laurelai Bailey's actions was used by Dan Olson to write the "The Mods are Always Asleep" article. Dan Olson claims he didn't know about Laurelai Bailey, but I honestly don't believe him. with everything they're claiming is on the site, they're actively engaging in the best possible advertisement to send people there, compared to banning mention of it altogether

(Image removed from quote.)

lol, you're not wrong. All this outrage and talk about 8chan being a pedophile heaven probably guided way more pedophiles there than the THQ tweet ever did.

Clearly 8ch has some sort of connection to Drumpf which he uses to keep the FBI from shutting down their massive clearnet pedo-haven. Probably because someone involved with THQ Nordic has 3rd degree associations with Drumpf, which fits into their plans to radicalize the youth with video games by spreading their white supremacist and pedophilia supporting ideology.

Why are they platforming them instead of unplatforming them?

More people will probably post in that thread than show up for the straight pride parade. Which is a feature, not a bug.

We already had a lengthy meta-commentary in the last THQ thread about whether or not discussion would be banned. It was ruled that people can talk about THQ games, but it's also allowed for people to remind everyone of how shit of a company they are in every thread. Fair enough, I guess.

By the way, THQ is a incredibly shit company and your money is going towards people who knowingly worked to legitimize a community that engages in white supremacy, mass killings, and distribution of child pornography. Don't scroll past that sentence and pretend to not see it.

Anyway, my guesses for what games they're going to announce:

1. Kingdom Come: Year 1488
2. Destroy All Brown Humans!
3. This Is the Police 3: SVU

Some neat-o posters you have there REE, not at all deranged.  :doge
