Why was a game published by Bandai and developed by Double Fine on an Indie game showcase?

My roommate, who doesn't play many modern games, commented that this game looks "not very graphically impressive given the company".

Yeah, I'm unsure. I think we have "Indie" as a shorthand for "independent game studio," and not just "the devs are living at home, working remotely, and don't have health care."

Bought this. Loving it. I'm enjoying the variation in abilities that the different mutations allow. Some work better together than others.

It's US$15 on the USA PSN store now.
