As I said in that thread, the brain is vastly complex. Even the slightlest change can greatly effect one's behavior. With that in mind it's not hard to project that some type of mental differentiation - whether it's a chemical imbalance or something else - could be responsible for changing one's sexual orientation. The science that changes fruit flies' sexual orientation is applicable to humans in essense. This is why I don't believe in the "gay gene" theory
The "gay gene" theory is from twins usually both being gay. You don't find it cause that's impossible. Sexuality can be decided to support a species/prevent overpopulation (%10 of animals being gay and deer's not having their sexuality chosen until puberty) but your theory is a "I don't what it is, but I'M NOT IT" theory.

I think the problem with what PD asserted is that he is saying being hetero is the default. That's a slippery slope my friend.
I'd disagree. I'm not politically correct enough to not believe that heterosexuality is the default orientation, and has been around longer than homosexuality. From an evolution standpoint it certainly makes sense.
