Last week-breakfast-Two Egg Muffins. Crazy how expensive their prices have gotten over the years. I can see why they've been getting beat by the fast casual places like Panera and Chipotle.

They have been remodeling their restaurants and those big ordering kiosks are all over now.

I dont even remember the last thing I got. Probably a mcchicken and a mcdouble. I leave full meal stuff to Wendys with their asiago chicken

Last August or so. Since I was on the road coming home from a card tournament that was a like 3-4 hour drive (leaving around like 8-9PM from there) and they were the only place besides Burger King (IIRC, but that was being rennovated at the time) on the road near the interstate that was open.

They dropped their Thickburger (Hardees/Carl Jr.) steak-burger clone sometime between then and like 2017. So I got a Big Mac, which took forever despite me ordering it through their self-order kiosk that was there.

Otherwise I don't really go to McDonalds from all the other burger places. Partially because I don't like their menu selection, partially because of the prices, and partially because everytime I do go they're either slow or just... I dunno the word.

2 months ago, double breakfast burritos. The McD's near my office sucks because it's not a proper franchise and doesn't have any of the dollar menu items, so fuck that forever. Prefer going to BK for $1.49 10-piece spicy chicken nugs

A couple of days ago, had only fries since I had eaten earlier and was only a tiny bit hungry.

I can't even remember when the last time before that was. The location is pretty inconvenient and I try not to eat too much fast food anyway. Emphasis on 'try' $:-\$

I went in the airport last weekend and got a quarter pounder meal.

However, I go probably 2-3x a month. And almost always get a McDouble and medium fries.

Their prices have gotten higher, but imo the beef has also gotten better.

But if you actually do go semi-often, the deals in their app are surprisingly legit.

I can usually get a McDouble, fries, and drink for under $5.

Edit: the move is free drink with any purchase of medium fries. They have that deal seemingly permanently active in the app. Then a McDouble is like $1.89 or something like that. They are still a damn sight cheaper than Chipotle or any of the fast casual places. However, I miss the old dollar menu the new one kind of sucks.

Edit2: sausage egg mcmuffin with cheese is also a damn near perfect breakfast sandwich.

Only time I go to fast food is for my brother or my nephew, that's all they eat and they'll ask me to occasionally if I'm already going out. I do sneak some fries on the drive home

Usually about once a month when I'm nearby for something else and headed home I get a McChicken, McDouble and a large fry in order to get some of the special calories that they have.

I'm easily able to avoid anything on their non-breakfast menu, but I am sorely addicted to McBiscuits in the USA, and I'll occasionally indulge in McMuffin in Japan. Only the sausage and egg version.

i've got a 24 hour maccy ds near me which is my last resort, usually coming back from a gig or whatever that i went to straight from work. haven't been in a while (only ever get the big mac meal because i'm straight) but it's probably the best cross section of mixed society you'll find. it harks back to a time when the bishop supped with the beggar at the only inn anyone could get to without getting eaten by wolves.
