This is based on the Toyota Alphard, which is also a luxury minivan in its own right, but not sold outside of Japan.

I can't stand the newer Lexus designs with the gigantic front grille.

This one is particularly ugly. I want to see the grille on the Hybrid version because there would be no reason for it and would actually hurt air flow (and effect MPG) if the grille is so large.

Yes.

Buick, Acura, and Infinity are considered the premium brand. Lexus is considered above that.

Who is that thing for?

I don‘t want to drive that thing because it is hideous.

Sure, it looks like it’s comfortable in the back, but if I had a chauffeur, I for sure wouldn’t buy a rebranded Toyota. And it‘s still hideous.

I recently told a friend of mine to buy a Kia because you get more for your money and they have  a better warranty and reliability. :stahp

I am currently facing treason charges.

True story, the Benz has been my dream car brand since early childhood. Then my sister bought a pre-owned E320 and it was a lemon. I don't enjoy their newer designs that much though.

the car comes equipped with a poop propulsion system that tosses your poo at the peasants outside.

So this shit propulsion system, is it like a catapult or a hose? I've tried looking for details on their site but couldn't find anything.

Quote
The Lexus LM will be offered in two models (LM 350 and LM 300h) and two drive types (front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive). Availability will vary by market. The LM 350 uses a 3.5-liter DOHC petrol engine and LM 300h leverages the 2.5-liter Atkinson four-cylinder engine and hybrid system.

If you're asking for the transmission system, Lexus uses CVTs for their hybrids and most of their automatics right now.

The reaction to a Lexus here is like.

Brehs, which car would you go for?
Audi S3 Sedan
BMW M2
Mercedes AMG CLA 35
Kia Stinger. (That one wasn‘t on my radar but I saw it at a Kia dealership and liked it a lot)

Any other ideas for cars with.more than 300hp under 50k?

That is supposed to be my car to have fun driving around in and  it’s just practical enough to put a child seat in there.
My wife drives the family car and only for that would I consider a hybrid.
The infrastructure for electric cars just isn’t there in Germany. And the car makers will fight that it won’t improve in the near future IMO.

If you are interested in the Kia Stinger, I'd look at the Genesis G70. It's a smaller car, but the interior is nicer, and it's in a sedan/saloon form vs. the liftback the Stinger has.

Thats some weak arguments kenny. Really. I mean u charge at home and thats 99% of your driving there.

Unless you drive more then 500km often its a total non issue.

If id lived in Germany id have a tesla, alas due to dania
sh prices I paid 40k for a hybrid  :doge

No, but sometimes I visit relatives in Poland and that‘s a 1200km road trip. I enjoy being on the road that long, so having to find a charging station and having to wait sucks.
And sometimes I want to drive more than 500km when I want to spend a weekend at the beach or do some hiking or mountainbiking.

And I‘m super OCD  about the sound of the car. That’s why I don’t really consider  an electric car.

I believe this car is only meant for Asian markets. There is a much bigger emphasis on rear seats in China, I'm guessing because if you can afford a foreign car there then you're rich enough to hire a driver.

And I guess they take more fashion risks over there too. To me, it just looks like a whale with braces.

This is actually a rebadge of the Toyota Alphard.

And this should just be a fun car to drive with the bare minimum of practicability. I want at least 300 HP and then it gets pricey for bigger cars.

The taxi that helped me during my move to a new apartment two weeks ago was an Alphard. That was a seriously sweet ride.

I also have ti drive 1200km to see family in Poland sometimes, but Im ocd about the enviroment instead of sound, so a few breaks along the way are a small price to pay. Also I think the hum and silence of an ev is sexy.

For me the reason why I didnt buy an ev last time is because they didn't have towing capacity in my 40k price range. Luckily that is now changing and cara like the Niro E will have towing capacity.

That's the 4 seat option, there's a tradtional 7 seat option for families that. The 4 seater is for chauffeuring around rich people.

A sports car is like a minivan for just one person.
