I think the only one of those left on the Play Store is BG1:EE. Wanted to get BG2, but they all mysteriously got pulled. Along with the Shadowrun games. Much disappoint.

That's because Valve C&D'd them into that. They can use "Auto-Chess" but not the ":DOTA2" part. Valve is supposedly making their own version for DOTA2 of that mod.

The worst part is they've gone and fucked the game. I myself am willing to play Shenmue on a toaster. I wouldn't care. But that's not the case for others. Shenmue I and II were locked behind platforms. 1 was exclusive to the DC until just last year. II got exclusivity in America and they didn't release the game on Dreamcast mere weeks away from release so it could be exclusive on the Xbox. Shenmue has been limited to be locked behind platforms for so long and I truly had hope III would do well if they played their cards right as a niche product in an age where games like Papers Please and Life Is Strange sell millions of copies. There's a market for a niche product that does the things Shenmue does these days, far more than when it first was released. And having it on Steam and stuff would have done wonders for the franchise.

And then they went and fucked it.

I just can't comprehend it.

Like, I'm beyond sad right now. This has broken my fucking heart.
