That was one of the cheapest bosses in recent memory.  It's not even an end boss, and 1 fuckup means you start all over, basically.

I can't see how that boss is beatable in single player.

I'm guessing it's a lot of pause and issue orders. Four people could take it; two are just doomed to an hour of searing repetitive stress injury.

Don't forget the hitpoints of both minions and boss probably increase 4x for each player in the game.
