I still enjoy my day-to-day work, but I'm about to jump ship before my department implodes. Luckily we're in a upswing economy and I had recruiters calling me within hours when I enabled the "open to new opportunities" setting on LinkedIn.

i have to run cable across a house today. :-\ they ain't making it easy on the kid the day before america's birthday. friday gonna be a nice day cause i think there's only like 5 of us coming in so I can get a bunch of little shit done.

i ran the cable, i punched the ports, and then one of the outlets i needed to use to power a router was broken so i said fuck it and quit for the day cause i didn't want to rewire that shit :lol
