Bit insensitive to chrono. He was in his 40's when that movie hit.

I was a senior in high school when this came out and definitely saw it in the theater. However, I think movies that were more influential on my teenage years were:

Dazed and confused
Empire records
Clerks

Never liked it.
I jerked off to screencaps of Shannon Elizabeth from the movie though, so there's that.  :doge

I was 18 when this came out.  Pretty much inline with the characters' ages.  Was a fun comedy for the time but they should have stopped after the second one, if not had no sequels.  This is the movie that coined the phrase "MILF" IIRC, or at least popularized it, so it needs respect.

Clerks, Mallrats, and The Jerky Boys (lol) were probably mine.

I forgot about Mallrats. Definitely liked it a lot, but always thought Clerks was superior. Lib Tyler in Empire records though.

Then she inspired the whole thot cosplay industry in LOTR.

Lol, there was a jerky boys... movie?

I probably saw it, but definitely forgot about it. I listened to at least one of their cds but imo the adam Sandler CDs were superior. I still say fuck me in the goat ass on occasion.

I went to a party at a friend's house and watched American Pie and The Matrix on the VHS. That's the only time I've ever seen AP.

I also am forever disappointed that clerks 3 will never be made.

Clerks 2 is strangely my mother in laws favorite movie.... despite never having seen the first one.

Saw this when I was a freshman in college, on a rip with Chinese subtitles. Got a kick how they used Libra-Calling Your Name in the strip scene...
