Frosted mini-wheats cause only cereal I can find with 90% DV Iron and I don’t get enough iron. Plus it tastes ok.

Oh god I just realized cereal is one of these mindfuck words for a non-native English speaker... Oatmeal (and cream of wheat too, had to google that) is a cereal? In my language it's a type of porridge, cereal refers to breakfast cereal only, also granola is its own separate thing. But apparently in English (at least US) porridge is just a warm cereal?

So pasta is noodles and porridge is cereal? Fuck outta here. I'm starting to regret ever learning English

why'd you stop eating barley? My mom used to make a sweet barley cereal and I hated it.

We had this on our breakfast menu at this hotel I used to work at: 1/2 steel cut oats 1/2 farro piccolo and topped with a granny Smith apples cooked down in some apple cider gastrique. Was so good, but I ain't got time to do that at home.
