"viral spam", banned for eternity.

I really take issue with the charge, since my idea of viral spam is foreign currency exchange scams and ads for bigger, thicker erections. I announced Village Voice Media's new gaming blog (which I contribute to as a freelancer), and in a separate thread brought up one of the posts as a starting point for discussion.

Then, recklessly, I posted some art I did in a "post your favorite fanart" thread... art that appeared on the blog site. Even that was deleted as spam.

Was I sloppy? Maybe, I dunno. Banned all the same. I see it as a badge of honor. And when I say that, I mean "I'm trying to think of it as a badge of honor".

It's fascinating to see all these once-familiar faces here.

ANYWAY... I'm thinking my banning would make for a funny blog, and this place... a place seemingly filled with NeoGAF exiles... is outstanding for it. Anyone want to share their crimes and possibly get 15 minutes of fame? If you want to share any thoughts on your banning, the community here, or anything else, PM me.

I got banned once for using Holocaust Denial as a comic prop. That was pretty awesome.

I got a temporary ban from GameFAQs (I was young, I needed the game conversation) for dismissing someone's whining about no bots in Halo 2 with "No doubt this is the worst thing that's happened since the Holocaust."

Yeah, Laramie. No great surprises there I guess since I rant about the issue now and then. That "racist" comment was a final trigger, but it was more to do with his opinion in another thread I believe. I'll let him explain if he wants.

I don’t think many consider him a fucktard. He has a good sense of humour and backs up his opinions instead of throwing grenades and running off.
