Man it's been long since I met someone who liked Top Cat.
(Image removed from quote.)
i should really rephrase that...
I actually hate Hanna Barbera shows. I despise the Flinstones, Jetsons, top cat, yogi, jonny quest and the worst of the worst: scooby fucking diddly doo. What shit quality, shit animation, shit art style, and shit storylines, and shit voice acting.
Except Tom and Jerry, aka one of the, if not THE greatest cartoon show of all time. Now here's a show mixing realistic artstyle with unrealistic results, almost ZERO dialogue, one of the greatest music accompaniment on ANY cartoons, and violence. omg, the violence. but most of all, no dialogue. Also, it is influenced by the following legend:
Tex Avery. I fucking love him and many of his craetions. The man proved cartoons could be superior entertainment [at times] than real action films, because of the simple 'unrealism = stylish fun' equation.

bugs, droopy, daffy, porky. THat is one manic genius

chuck jones, Merry melody series
also,

Silly symphonies from Disney. The complete opposite of Tex, sure, but still...wow. Perfecting a similar mold popularized by Tom and Jerry [where expressions + great music >>> dumb excessive dialogue], more than ten years before TnJ.
And while I dislike HB, there's no object that receives my largest share of hatred than .... Japanese animation. Or more specifically, anime.
What. a shit. parasite. genre. Oh my jesus. You - along with American's dumb love for live action series - have ruined Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. Seriously, go fuck yoruself in dumb archaic JRPGs, but leave cartoons alone.
PS:

old school 90s Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon.
