My theory on moblin is that he started working for Yahoo! back in 1995. Back then they didn't have automated webcrawlers, so people had to do it manually. He was one of the last hired under this program.

They didn't have space for him, so he was stuck in a broom closet in a basement office. Yahoo! automated the system in 1997 and cut all the staff. But they forgot about him ... he still sits there today, toiling away cataloging the data .. always watching...

I'd say, reading the REE thread for prolonged periods of time is bad for your mental wellbeing, which is why I only do it infrequently. Even second-hand madness rubs off eventually. That's why so many of the remaining Resettis are constantly depressed: they drag each other down.
