Not surprising that people working minimum wage jobs under the heavy boot of capitalism have never felt the joy of going to Olive Garden because something good happened and they want to celebrate. It would appear that most people don't agree with you.  In the ATL, CFA is always backed up with cars waiting in line all day long.  People go nuts for that shit here.  When Popeye's did their new chicken sandwich last week, people were fucking racing down to their locations to get them.

I'm happy Burger King isn't on the GOP support list though, because given a choice of fast food places, I intend to order Impossible Whoppers until they stop making them. Need to firm up my thoughts on it and I need a wide range of sample data.

Health isn't part of Impossible's pitch, and I'm not interested in eating healthily when I'm at a fast food joint. In terms of baseless "if you eat fake meat you'll get cancer in 20 years!!!" speculation: it may make me the target of ribbing but I do trust the FDA's process for food safety, and Impossible meat been deemed safe to eat.

Beyond that, it's a test of human biases. We won't get to replicators on Star Trek if we don't come around to the idea of lab-created food. (We wouldn't have corn or strawberries in their current form either...) All food innovations seem strange and possibly a little disgusting at first.

Bring on the GMO food and synthetic meat! It won't get any better if we're just sitting on our hands, so I'm extremely excited to see Impossible go nationwide with the #5 fast food chain.

there's a hot chicken place down the street that i go to for a chicken sandwich but if i didn't have that i'd go to CFA just because service there is actually quick. haven't had the popeyes one so can't judge it.

the chicken place has previously been a donut shop and a crepe place so i'm already preparing myself for it going away
