That FPS gameplay is so fucking slow. There's no way doing your abilities that slow is going to be the actual gameplay players see when (if) it releases.

Also can we talk about how they showed off more in development stuff today than ever before and it seems like it was mostly to wash over their negative pr of late? Or nah?

People are turning them down for jobs now when they used to be the most desirable place in the industry.

As someone who works on a tactical shooter... it does look about the same speed. And I'm sure just like a lot of my coworkers, most of the team are probably former Activision employees with at least one CoD under their belt.

Thats what I mean, its not Overwatch, its a hero tac shooter. Speed seems fine and smart that they would try to differentiate themselves by going with a speed and playstyle other people will be comforty with.

Plus if they capitalize on tje blizz hatetrain now they could have a winner on their hands.

Just look at that match (on X-box, so not as fast as PC) and see how things are decided within 4-5 seconds of situations. This Riot "gameplay" is slower than that. Partly because it's "Alpha" and partly to show the abilities like that flying knife off, but there is no way in hell that is going to be the final gameplay speed, and if it is it's dead in the water.

Even Overwatch (the game they're aping) is faster and that's an MOBA shooter, not a "tactical shooter."
