Nothing wrong with "competition," GoG is solid. It's just these other ones (and the publisher branded ones like Beth's launcher and Rockstar's) are utter shit and that's why folks are crying about it: They're fucking awful and not worth the development time and harddrive space (or security worries, hey oh 2FA Epic!).

I buy 99% of everything on Steam.  Occasionally I buy something on Origin or Battle.net.  Seems OK to me and is not a big deal at all.


Haven't bothered with the Epic store though.

Doesn't seem that great, yeah.  So I haven't used it.  Anything I've had any interest in getting that's only on the Epic Store (all of two games) I just got on a console instead.

The best part of the Epic Games Store is how you can't move things around in the download queue. Also how that progress bar makes no sense and there's no key.

The best part of the GeForce Experience is how the change logs for it and the drivers basically tell you nothing.
