Pretty lame Black Friday, to be honest. My PC parts went down like $100 max (yay) but the fan was out of order (BOO!) to where my parts won't be complete/ready to put in my case to go with my older parts until like Mid-December. (*sigh*)
Google Play had some interesting things (like the Doom Black Book:
https://play.google.com/store/books/details/Fabien_Sanglard_Game_Engine_Black_Book_DOOM_v1_1?id=wel6DwAAQBAJ) for half-off. But others like Ru Paul's Drag Race only has ONE season for half-off (if that) while the older seasons (that I want to catch up on...) are full-price. Same with Orphan Black: 1-3 are like $5 and then it goes up to $10 for the last two. Not a
huge deal but it's certainly "WTF" and so I didn't dump any money past my PC parts.
Game-wise: PC gaming doesn't really do anything on Black Friday for software/games so it's hardware and checking Best Buy the price of their pre-builts with similar parts is roughtly like $400 more than my stuff, counting me reusing parts/PSU, monitor, case, etc. from my previous build so it's a wash.
From what I saw a lot of PS4 Pros (the one hardware that I would be interested in) is still like $300 -- so like $100 off -- 3-4 years into the launch of that? Meanwhile the PS4 shitty launch edition is like $150 which isn't horrible but not the version that should be the standard especially near end-of-life for the generation. :/
Edit: Oh hell yeah: Jazz Jackrabbit 1-2 and Epic Pinball are like $.99 and $.50 each. Thank you GoG, now my Wishlist is entirely empty on you.
