You might be able to get away with this kind of Crony Capitalism and Collusion in Yurop, but it's different in America where business rules. Sony is going to be hurting after the lawsuit for undermining their brand.

Like all console sports games the only area they spend any time or money developing is the part with all the insidious IAP.

But considering the only other option is RBI Baseball from MLB itself... yeah.

Other platforms huh. PC is a given, but are they going to go for Switch and/or Xbone?

Super Mega Baseball is no slouch. Especially SMB2 with all the customization. Also the pitching in the game is top notch. I was able to make a ton of college teams and run a fun little season.  Went with more fooltball colors than drab grey and white baseball fare.

Uniform Images for both leagues. Did them off the top of my head but it worked for me.

I meant for licensed games. I enjoy SMB a lot.

The stuck-in-Japan Konami baseball games (Power Pro and Pro Baseball Spirits) are really damn good. But like I said, they're stuck in Japan and only have the NPB license. I still play Power Pro 2016 (with a free 2017 season update) from time to time on my PS4.

The couple years of MLB Power Pros on the PS2 and Wii were sweet, though.

I mostly play OOTP for my baseball fix anyhow. I like the management/development aspect of baseball more than playing every game.
