I have a 32" Samsung 4k monitor on my desk, unpictured I also have a 49" TCL 4k tv and a Switch and PS4 (non pro, was thinking about it but will wait for PS5/Xbox sex to get a new console, hopefully both will play 4k UHD blu rays)

I’m thinking of getting an actual gaming monitor. This is my bedroom so I kinda squeezed everything into one area. Maybe I’ll go all out next and buy a new monitor when the 3080ti cards come out.

I just randomly lucked out and MicroCenter had a sale on this Samsung 4k monitor, it was $320, usually can't get it for less than $400. I do work on the same set up that I play games on, though, so that's probably not great for my monitor's lifespan but whatever.

Very nice and clean setups brehs.

I need to clean up my apartment for Christmas anyway so will shoot some pics when I'm done.

Although to quote George Lucas: "I may have overdone it a little in a few areas" when it comes to my setup  :doge

Clean and cozy, but doesn't it bother you to browse and generally use M&K from that distance, on that big of a screen?

I do have this close-up of my desk, but yeah- need to do some clean-up.  I really need to get that mess of wires organized.
:stahp

I love all that RGB/LED lighting shit.  Room is filled with LIFX bulbs and two bars:

Older shot of most of my games.  It has grown larger since then and space is running out, so time to start getting rid of some stuff next year.

Got some new RGB strips coming today to replace the shitty ones in the back of the TV and will post pics- you can barely tell that the ones on there are even on, lol.

I keep all my game stuff generally quarantined contained in one room, but do have this 'mamecab' in the living room.  This is also an older photo of it on a table.

I work from home and have a separate setup for that- we never use the dining room so I made it my workspace by taking a large bookcase and using it as a room divider to make a little cubicle of sorts out of.  The table is in front of this and isn't even used for anything.  Was thinking about hooking up a monitor and turning it into another space for PC gaming with my laptop and/or a spot to hook up the mini consoles like the NES Classic and such.

Waiting for a monitor arm mount to arrive, so the one on top is a temporary position.

What kind of mount?  Was wondering if a vertical mount (the standing type, not the arm type) might work to sit behind my ultra-wide and let me place a standard-size monitor above it.
:thinking

Desk mounts. I ordered two Ergotron LX Desk Mounts (would have gotten the amazon one, but they are cunts with shipping to here). Not entirely sure how I will use it yet, but having my other 1440p above it, is certainly one option, that I have also seen other people do. Then next to it, I will keep my 1080p standing on the desk. It's 240hz and I use it almost exclusively for csgo.

The issue I had with arm mounts (and it probably wouldn't be any better with the other type) is that the monitor I'd want to mount is an ASUS MX model, and they don't have VESA mounts.  You have to buy an adapter and it makes the monitors stick out quite a bit.  Tried a dual arm mount and it felt like the monitors were going to fall forward and rip the mount off the desk, so I returned it and got the ultra-wide instead.  Now have two monitors just sitting there unused and would like to do something with them.  My wife likes to sit on a chaise and watch stuff on a little tablet.  Maybe a strong wall mount might work to hook up a monitor there, but I always worry that wall mounts are going to fall off, too, lol.  Had a bad experience with shelving years ago.  :P

I pretty much always sit at the desk when I’m gaming. I know its weird to be that close but even with a remote I like to be like 2 feet away.

i'm the complete opposite, i want the least amount of led possible. :lol purposely went with a kb/m with no led and the only leds in my case are my gpu and a small ring around the cpu fan, both white.

my last case (now my wife's) had a bunch of built in leds that drove me nuts but also it was absurdly cheap for a decent case with 5 quiet built in fans so i dealt with it :lol

If it were lights that were always on, I'd hate them, but it's all fully-controllable.

Yeah all my lights are fully controllable through the ASUS aura software. I generally keep it on a static setting on that same light blue shade, if I had to have it always on I'd hate it.

Here's "The Eagle"

Intel Core i7 - 4790k (want to CPU upgrade for a while now, but it still runs everything at 150 fps so maybe next year  :doge )
Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Aorus
32GB RAM
2 SSD's
4 HDD's

LG 4K OLED and a bunch of systems hooked up like the Xbox One X, Switch and NES Classic.
A projector screen can also be used but that's kinda redundant ever since I got the OLED.
