I can think of examples right away, but animation where the lips are totally over-animated and they try to animate the use of teeth in speech. Its always really bizzare looking with the lips moving like a creature and the teeth and tongue dancing around.

I was watching Irresponsible Captain Tylor the other night and noticed their mouths in the OVA are colored pink when the open them and though it weird, but then I considered the alternative.

QUALITY ANIMATION:

I'm surprised it still holds up today. I love the art direction in the movie and how it compliments the historical Egyptian art perfectly. Impressive
