Real talk: Different cheese types have different levels of lactose in them. I wish the government required it on the label.

You should be 100% fine with something like parm. Gouda, in moderation. Brie? Avoid.

The harder the cheese, the less lactose

Seriously though, I hardly drink anymore, only in social settings (but going for a drink is still 99% of what my friends and I do

), but fuck no to quitting pizza, gratins and mac & cheese or just biting into a piece of Manchego or Parm

I don't consume massive amounts of cheese either and could probably give it up too if I had to, but some foods just wouldn't be the same without it.

I literally gave up the sauce going on a month now and have been eating broccoli with melted cheese as part of cutting diet. #teamcheezywheezy
