Nintex's Joy for every shitpost he lays:

Nintex is a very goofy and easy to love antagonist. etoilet was also lovable in that he'd piss people off very easily. Assimilate was boring and an obvious attention whore that didn't have much substance. Basically a Breaking Bad/Dexter type villain.

In general, it's fun to root for some posters annoying others here. Especially posters that post like they need to up their antidepressants or antipsychotic medications. Or jerking off more, or actually playing videogames.

Life is already a story of battling cynical forces and thoughts. Last thing any site, and this forum needs, is a circlejerk with the same four dudes trying their hardest to sound like the wittiest boys in the room.

I defended Discovery the entirety of season 1 and didn't even watch season 2 until recently. And "whenever people would try to discuss discovery" is a weird claim, considering the people you listed make up at least 80% of the Star Trek thread.

I have defended and love Picard.

No one is stopping anyone from discussing Discovery and I definitely had no part in doing so. I just didn't like season 2 or its direction. In fact, I'm very excited for season 3 because it has a fascinating concept.

My main criticism of Disco s2 is actually fanservice. One reason I HATE prequels is the fanservice. "Remember this!?" "Remember that?!" It's lazy bullshit that never impresses me. One thing I thoroughly enjoyed about s1 was the limited fan service. I expected there to eventually be some TOS fan dick stroking but then s1 ends with "omg remember the Enterprise?!" and the entirety of the promotion for s2 was basically,"where's Spock?!!?" I just don't care about Spock when we don't even know the names of the crew members on the bridge. It just happens to be a big turn off for me. I tried watching the first episode of s2 and so much of it is Spock fellatio. I love me some Spock, but he should not in any way take such power and position over the rest of the show. I didn't bother watching another episode after that for months.
