Holy shit. This new poll really show what has happened to the country. 33 states are majority democrat/lean democrat. Only SIX have majority republicans/leaning republicans.

Can someone explain what is with Utah? The only one with over 60% for republicans?

Since last year:

States where Democrats have gained an edge: Delaware, Florida, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin

States where Republicans have gained an edge: None

There's nothing worse than these god damn pollsters who go around interviewing a couple hundred people and then projecting their data is being relevent to the national picture. They're as useless and meaningless as the "social scientists" who always seem to be pimping their focus group studies as national/human truths.

you have NO CLUE how polls work.

When have polls proven wrong? They were correct in 2006. They all said the 2004 election would come down to FL and Ohio long before election day and got every other state correct.

McCain will win most of the southern states. He'll sweep the Bible Belt because even if they don't like him, fundie's will do anything to ensure Hillary doesn't get into office.

Independents are leaving McCain in droves. Independents determine elections.

Only one time since FDR-Truman has a party held the white house 3 elections in a row.

It only happens when the incumbent is VERY popular and cant run again. Not Bill Clinton popular but FDR and Reagan iconic popular.
