If we don't get Maria Zook shitposting for Devolver from this, Ign is cancelled.

Yeah that must be her.
She's cute.  :yeshrug

Filler isn't reliable, as he'd spam her up and down the NSFW thread if she had a spade tattoo.  ;)

I was listening to the Player 1 Podcast and they mentioned that good ol John Davison (the British chap you might remember from 1up.com or EGM) was in charge of this. Had no idea he was at IGN now. Before that he was doing something that was the videogame site under Rolling Stone that was eventually merged directly with the main website so he left that. Wasn't sure what happened to him after, but I guess at some point he joined IGN.

He made What They Play, a site focused on parents. That got bought by IGN, which is how he got on, I think.

His brother meanwhile is an embarrassing loli weeb.

He did do that, but that would still be prior to his rejoining of IGN. Cause he did What They Play right after his time at 1UP right?

Fake edit: I looked at his Twitter. Glixel! That's what was. But I think Rolling Stone just merged it instead of keeping that brand. I stopped paying attention after that. He had a podcast there for a bit. That stopped too once he left. Don't have a clue if Rolling Stone covers games at all or somehow revived the Glixel brand.

Real edit: Heh. Glixel.com goes to Variety gaming. Ok. Do that's what became of that. Totally different from 2 or 3 (maybe 4?) years back.

Edit 2: looking at IGN staff it says he's been part of IGN as a Publisher since 2019.
And dude. I forgot all about his brother. I Googled his site and last visited it in the middle of 2017 it said on my Google search

https://moegamer.net/

Hah. He's still at it. I don't like bring Trash Thread talk into other places (or in general) , but I'm almost positive he had a spat on RE early on in the forum's life and left it. Not sure if he was banned or not. Either way he wasn't keen on sticking around there anyway.
