not sure what your price range is but $400-600 will go a lot further with an xbox than a laptop. the pc exclusives seem to mostly be strategy/football manager type stuff.

It's not the same selection, but maybe like 80% the same. Some games exclusive (Valkyria Chronicles was on PC gamepass but not Xbox)

Keep in mind that GamePass you are restricted to MS's domain so you probably won't be able to run mods and such, and depending on your setup you might have issues with installing games and running them. If you want more freedom in your mods and tweaks then just stick with other platforms like Steam.

Holy shit the xbox app is poo on PC, even Uplay is better. Dang.

The value of the gamepass is insane though if it really gets new games regularly.

I mean I can see Outer Worlds there, Two Point hospital. Not bad, that would cost a lot on Switch, here its pennies.

Yes the value is insane, it does get new games and some high profile shit on release, eg Outer Worlds and Street of Rage 4. It's only going to get better due to to the massive onboarding to the service.

On the console side of things the service is frickin awesome if you're on a budget. Game Pass Ultimate includes Gold sub and doesn't cost much more than plain Gold. I've played so much cool stuff I wouldn't have otherwise, eg. Ace Combat 7 and my personal GOTY 2019 - VOID BASTARDS

Gamepass rules, definitely a good choice for the cheap gamer lol. Also you don't have to use the Xbox app on the PC, you can just use the MS Store app or website. Xbox app is just a reskinned MS Store app
