I never enjoyed high school either until I was demoted to a lower level for the 4th year, easily graduated that and made some cool new friends.
Then went back to my old level again for the 5th year and I already knew how the exam process worked and was one of the oldest in the group.
I admit the demotion was caused by being lazy and giving a higher priority to Dragonball Z and playing GameCube games with my buddies (who all went for fun and easy mode like car mechanic and pastry chef) than any sort of lack of skill.
High school was a disaster anyway, with the school experimenting with 40 minute lessons and overworked, underpaid and severely mental ill teachers (imagine if your English teacher with long blonde hair shows up bald one day and starts screaming at everybody).
- In the first week my mother was admitted to the hospital and I had to temporarily stay at some acquaintances until my dad could make arrangements at work, so I was the guy that didn't have his books or other stuff
- In the second week I discovered my friend from grade school really wouldn't show and his family had run off to Dubai
- In the 3rd week 9/11 happened
I also didn't really like any of my class mates. So all my friends were in other classes or even at different schools.
There was no good news until week 6, when the one guy who bullied me was hit by a truck and everyone was in mourning except me.
So yeah, I relate to these zoomers, high school sucked.
Except the 2 final years and everything that happened during all those high school years outside of high school
