I hear you’re having trouble opening up to this idea, is that correct?

Non-violent Communication:-

First step: don’t catch feelings over nerd shit.

Second step: post hog.

Would you say you have a need for hog and what feelings do you experience when you don’t get it?

Nonviolent communication really helped me so much as an autist to both be constructive in my communication and be able to receive and process constructive information from what I used to perceive as an attack. I full heartedly recommend actually learning something from this guy.

a little fighting is fine, but being vicious over something like meaningless consoomer products is not halal.

don't be that guy. be an adult. the average age of this board is like 37 lol

I agree right until Kojima silent hill is announced, and people in here praises it and the decision to give him the IP. Then all chains are off.

It works great in business too  :success

For example when a client comes up and says:
"You know I've been thinking about having another firm do the logo because they have an intern that can do it for 1/5th the price"

*virgin violent response*
"An intern, are you fucking stupid, after all the time we've spend to built a professional website and campaign you're going with intern?"

*chad nonviolent response*
"Thank you for giving me a heads-up about the logo update. The intern option sounds interesting from a financial perspective. Still, are you sure this guy is up to the job? A logo is perhaps the most valuable asset of your business.
How do you feel about discussing your different options with me sometime so we can look at the pro's and cons?"

I had to take a class on non-violent communication when I took my teaching gig.

I really appreciate you as a poster Cats, but  I think that non violent communication is a load of bullshit and just wastes everybody's time. I really like your avatar though.

For the dude who didn't want to ban Assi you're getting pretty active lately

I don't even mind more strict moderation in principle but when the board has been one way for so long and then to suddenly start acting like you're an old GAF mod and it's your way or the highway is pretty bullshit

Fitter, happier
More productive
Comfortable
Not drinking too much
Regular exercise at the gym, three days a week
Getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries
At ease
Eating well, no more microwave dinners and saturated fats
A patient, better driver
A safer car, baby smiling in back seat
Sleeping well, no bad dreams
No paranoia
Careful to all animals, never washing spiders down the plughole
Keep in contact with old friends, enjoy a drink now and then
Will frequently check credit at moral bank, hole in wall
Favours for favours, fond but not in love
Charity standing orders on sundays, ring-road supermarket
No killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants
Car wash, also on sundays
No longer afraid of the dark or midday shadows, nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate
Nothing so childish
At a better pace, slower and more calculated
No chance of escape
Now self-employed
Concerned, but powerless
An empowered and informed member of society, pragmatism not idealism
Will not cry in public
Less chance of illness
Tires that grip in the wet, shot of baby strapped in backseat
A good memory
Still cries at a good film
Still kisses with saliva
No longer empty and frantic
Like a cat
Tied to a stick
That's driven into
Frozen winter shit, the ability to laugh at weakness
Calm, fitter, healthier and more productive
A pig in a cage on antibiotics
We didn't start the fire  :rimshot

I used to think that nature was cruel and that the legacy of biological life was just 3.77 billion years of rape and cannibalism, but something about that sock puppet show really spoke to me.
