What the fuck happened I. That star trek thread?
The long story short, Cindi and MM had a meltdown over Star Trek because MM thought Picard was bad and Cindi thought Picard was good.
Some posters felt like they should turn it down a notch because it became an unreadable screeching of personal insults against one another.
Because MM is a dude some of us reminded him of dude etiquette and also asked the mods to take look.
Bork showed up to moderate and agreed that people should not lose their shit over Star Trek but some posters got angry either with the moderation or a lack of moderation in other topics and the board in general.
That prompted bork to lock the original Star Trek thread as it had turned into a mod summit and people outing their grievances about the moderation instead of Star Trek.
In the second Star Trek thread people just couldn't let the arguments and grievances of the first Star Trek thread go.
One poster said to MM something like: "I don't like your posting style, I'm not doing this again, so I'm blocking you and not reading any of your posts" and that brings us to this thread.
