Bought PS4 version at full price and never finished it
Bought the Switch version at full price and haven't played it yet, I like the additions but it's definitely a bit ugly

Now I really should wait for the PC version. At least on game pass I don't have to triple dip and end up spending over $200 on this game. But game pass PC versions have been known to have a lot of bugs and issues so might end up needing to triple dip on a steam version for $30 on-sale at some point and finally play it then.

I wonder if they can mod in the Japanese voice track to the PC version.
*edit* nm, it has dual audio. Nice. Hoepfully the Game Pass version is bug free because then can play it there and not have to triple dip. Finally time to beat this game.

Huh, the Switch version is the best version. Xbox/PS4/PC DQXIs should be the definitive version, especially since they are adding dual audio which the USA Switch version didn't have (though ironically enough the Japanese version got the English VA track as DLC).

Shadows and ambient occlusion are affected. Could just be an .ini adjustment away from parity, but who knows.

The artstyle survives the change pretty well, so whatever from me personally, but it's still weird.

The orchestral soundtrack was modded in pretty early. It was pulled afaik, but I'm sure it's still out there.
