i actually found a pretty decent theme to modify but if people gonna freak at a minor change like that maybe it's best for everyone we leave it as is

The only criticism I had was the text was too close making it look visually busier which wasn't as clean/readable as prior, which also seemed to be the main contention from others. Not unexpectedly a few went overboard with reactions but eh, Bore gonna Bore

For something significant like a theme though it's the type of thing user feedback beforehand is useful for, since I've virtually never seen site redesigns sprung on users go down well (hardly a revelation tho).

well if you want to provide feedback i was looking at tweaking this theme since it's pretty clean and simple. i figured it was time for bore to transition to jane and be our true selves

NGL most of these smf themes are too noisy. i periodically check and see but none of them really work well to me.

I mean, if the stylesheet was tweaked enough to match the Bore's color scheme and text contrast it mightn't be the worst theme. For specific elements not a fan of the fixed header, board/topic banner (#info_bar), reputation counter or circular masked avatars.

That said idk how much would actually be changed so it's hard to judge beforehand. If seriously considering it I'd at least keep it as one of the optional themes in the user control panel to gauge more feedback post-tweaks.

Otherwise if it was being considered for its default appearance I don't think it suits the Bore, while if it was being considered mostly for its responsiveness for mobile widths it would probably be easier tweaking the Bore's current theme than the other way around (edit: though idk how realistic the latter would be to expect, unless a few CSS folk who dislike such a theme find time).
