« on: September 14, 2020, 09:33:48 AM »
Hey yall im looking for a game like that Mad Dog Mccree game, I never really played a western FMV game where you shoot dudes but I can only imagine it being fun as hell.

Is there any way to play such a game on a PC? I also have a 360 but no Kinect so that Kinect FMV game is sadly out :(

also lets give our love for FMV games in here <3

The three Mad Dog McCree games actually got rereleased on Wii and PSN [no 360, though].

Look up "Digital Leisure" they seem to own the rights to these games?

I own Mad Dog McCree on DVD (!)

The Crime Patrol games (also by American Laser Works) are also solid light gun games.

I've been playing Corpse Killer, Double Switch, and Night Trap lately, both the grainy old Sega CD versions and the 25th anniversary remasters on PS4.  I wish they would bring out a remaster of Shadow Warrior, as it was one of the better FMV games of the time and it was one of the last things to be shot at the Shaw Brothers original studio backlot.

They were very fun light gun games, but yeah, playing them with a controller really takes away from the experience. Crime Patrol is super enjoyable, I never tried the sequel, but it was fun. A modern take on those games was Night Shift, on the ps4. It was pretty great.

Back in the arcade games, I really liked the cowboy duels game that played on a big vertical monitor, Fast Draw Showdown

I never saw that in the arcades.  It did come out on Wii via WiiWare.
