Close your eyes, and think of a man that went out and Voted for Trump in 2016. To this day, he describes Trump as someone who "Tells it like it is" and "keeps america full of americans".
He's likely on the lower income scale, the only bread winner in the family and has three kids. Works a typical blue collar job that he's been doing for more than a decade.
Maybe his boss is a different race and treats him extremely poorly, coming home to a child that wants nothing to do with him and chooses to only accept affection from their mother.
