-Amnesiaaaaaa (will actually play this, Soma was the greatest)

-Crash 4 (might play this, 50/50 on whether it gets backlogged until I sit down and play through Crash 2 & 3 first)

-Pikmin 3 (will rebuy this and then backlog it alongside my Wii U version in the backlog and maybe finally play this; I probably shouldn't buy this)

-Watchdogs Legion (probably play this, loved #2, didn't like #1, depends on which one this feels like)

Ikenfell demo was cool. Will probably grab it on some sale someday.

There must be 10 or more games in the Leisure Suit Larry franchise. Who keeps buying them?

Kinda want Crash 4, but I’m afraid of a PS5 version with no upgrade path.

Will get Watch Dogs for $10 bucks next year only because of Clint Hocking.

It's unclear why this keeps happening, other than that Germans are involved.

The good thing on Crash is it'll run on PS5 and you can play it in BC Pro mode and Pro version seems pretty locked 60fps. But yeah if they do an actual PS5 upgrade with higher resolution or something you could get locked out.

Pretty empty month for me which is a damn good thing.

Maybe just Legend of Heroes, which are games I buy while saying to myself “well see I’ll play them if I know I have the complete story on hand!”. But then later realize “oh I don’t want to play because there’s so many of them”.

Oh and I hate anime.

Star Wars being priced lower is interesting, it's multiplayer only isn't it?

But you're named after one?

Baldur's Gate 3 is the only thing I'm really interested in. Maybe Star Wars if it turns out to be really good.

Oh and I hate anime.

The Trails series doesn't feel like anime to me. I can see that, but the vibe is pretty different unlike say Tales.

Trails feels like a slower and more boring but larger scope and bigger highs Suikoden. Is Suikoden anime? I associate the cell shaded look more with jrpgs than anime idk.

Very interested in BG3, but don't see the point in playing early access rpgs.

Crash  :-*

Would've been excited for Amnesia back in the day, but Soma was downgraded to a walking sim, so I dunno.

Had my CS4 LE preordered since the day preorders became available. Really all I care about, I'll wait for the English version of the Nocturne Remaster.

Will get:

-Super Mario Bros. 35 (Isn't this free?)
-Pikmin 3 Deluxe
-Hardcore Mecha
-Moon (Japanese physical)
-Prinny 1-2: Exploded And Reloaded
-Shantae Risky's Revenge: Director's Cut
-Cadence of Hyrule Complete Edition

Might get:

-G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout
-Cloudpunk
-Ghostrunner
-Dungreed

That Mario Kart game might offer some fun, but is clearly something more for kids and/or an expensive novelty.

Actually true. German fanboys bought the IP and made those last two games. No idea how the script even works in English, half the game's jokes are German puns.

I am joking, but I am a very lapsed anime fan. It's really just the look and the high school setting of the first two games that is a turn off. And Falcom's level of presentation and visuals.  Now it's also that theres so many of them. Weebs can be very demanding when it comes to their stuff, but is it really impossible to play them if you say skip part one and/or part two? I mean I ask because I have often experienced things out of order. Played MGS2 before 1, saw Death and Rebirth before the Eva tv show, beat Digital Devil Saga 2 before 1, and so on.

I mean probably, the western publishers skipped the two Crossbell games and people are getting by fine, so why not. Sure it's even more fucked up order-wise if you start at CS3, which is also a super fucking long game (~100 hours+) which is a lot of commitment for jumping in partway.

Did you play Trails in the Sky trilogy? I'd play them before jumping into CS3 because they're better games and also a better start. If you haven't played any of the Trails games at all and aren't interested in old games like Sky, I'd recommend just not playing the series until the soft reboot in a couple years with a new cast, new story, new location, new graphics engine and new gameplay (might be an arpg or something like Tales).

I mean, Cold Steel is all available in English so it makes sense to play those, but unless you're a hardcore nerd with OCD who enjoys making excuses for why you can't do anything in life because it's all just too interconnected, you'd be just fine.
