One of my fondest memories of Japan came from Harold and Kumar. I downloaded a DVD-rip and watched it on my modded Xbox when two of my friends (the best friends I had in Japan, really) came down to Tokyo to crash and party for the weekend. When the movie was over at like 2:30 AM, we walked our drunken laughing asses down to the train station and got some cheeseburgers at the 24-hour Wendy's--one of like five in Tokyo. There in the neon glow of the fast food restaurant I realized that I was experiencing a true moment of close friendship, good food, and a sense of goodwill towards the world--all made possible by the inspirational Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.
In contrast, the only thing Star Wars has ever inspired me to do is wish I had my $10 back.
