I’ve got a rig, but it’s being used by the missus most of the time. Our secondary computer was my MacBook Air but that bit the dust. I’m waiting on the M1 to come in.

I’ve got a Ryzen build built, but the ram is so fucking specific on the QVL from Asus. I couldn’t even get it to work without issue with ram that was on the list. I gave up and the rig has been sitting there for like two years now. I tried and tried to get it to work went through 4 sets of ram from different vendors and still had issues with stutters and stability.

What Ryzen do you have, what motherboard do you have, what RAM do you have.

We're gonna fix this thing my friend.
I spend a weekend getting this rig up and running until I found out Amd Cool & Quiet was broken and undervolted the CPU and USB ports.

You can take AMD out of the bugs but you can't take the bugs out of AMD

Evga 800 watt psu

The bios is up to date and xmp profile is on. I think it needs a different ram or tuning to get it stable and non studery. Wonder if it’s just the motherboard.

Spent more on small business weekend by dumping more on a few more Vinegar Syndrome and Severin releases. I spent a bit more than I saved for the bf sales, but made up for it by not buying anything else.

Turn off AMD cool and quiet in the bios and eco mode in Windows 10. Also make sure to run AMD Ryzen Master software with older Ryzen CPU's.
