This shit is so mind numbing, between the nonsensical awards (Flight Simulator with Crusader Kings), constant advertising, absurd pacing, and the stupid length, it'd be completely unwatchable, if you didn't watch withsome people making fun of it in some way.
I really can't imagine who tunes in the raw stream and just enjoys it alone.  ???

I liked some of the announcements at least, but why not just wait the day after for those?

I liked Among Us winning shit. A 2018 game.

And the Game of the Year award goes to "SUPER MARIO BROS 3". Congrats on winning each year since release.

TGAs are on the same level as Emmies for me. If I remember they're on I'll probably watch, but if I miss it I also literally don't care.

Watching anything live can be a fun experience.

I liked the half-hour "preshow" much more than the main show, with the Sephiroth reveal, the Persona 5 Strikers music performance, and the Nier remake gameplay trailer. Rest of the show was a total :zzz for me, with the exception of maybe the London Philharmonic Mario medley.

My favorite part was when Nintendo's lawyers came on stage and made them stop playing it.
