TIL Musk was fired by Paypal's board in 2000 for trying to switch them to Windows Server :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

Edit- Apparently it was old, straight UNIX not Linux they were trying to switch away from. :anhuld

I would still not suggest going with Windows. Especially they were originally on a solid BSD variant or something.

The only thing that makes people go to windows server is fear. They build in that 'support contract' then EOL software to force you to upgrade to the new 'support contract'. Just hire some sys admins and trust em brehs.
