I need not find purpose, but will it. I do so on a foundation of impossible love.

someone explain to me why we have bodies anymore when we can zoom into work, zoom into school, and zoom into drink night. we're just avatars filtered through HD cameras and small microphones. our collective simulacra is consumed through square images or 15-second videos intercut as we will them to be... nothing is real but what we make it. imagine how much better the psychology of existence would be if we were grey nondescript silicon masses,  freed from this turgid swamp of pointless human vanity.

i'm not anti-body exactly but i think they're just kind of arbitrary. focusing for a minute on genitals for example, you could imagine all kinds of possible genital shapes and forms but for some reason most people are arbitrarily limited to one of just two basic configurations. it would be much better i think if each person could have and experience all possible configurations simultaneously, or at least a larger and more cohesive subset or dare i say subspace of them.
