I had three such incidents that come to mind (much more actually but these always stuck with me as a 'wow, that happened')

On NeoGAF there was did dude who kept saying that PS3 or PS4 games looked better than PC games and I just kept saying Crysis was more technically advanced than any Sony first party games. I believe it involved one of the Killzone's.
At some point the mods banned him and he blamed me and send death threats to nearly all my online accounts (steam/gmail etc.) telling he would find me and kill me and my family.

After my resetera ban someone from resetera contacted one of my long time internet friends who happens to be LGTBQ+ to cut ties with me.
I made the argument that because Poland had been occupied by Russia and Germany they were quite nationalistic and in some ways not as liberal and progressive as far as gay rights etc. were concerned and trying to get people fired would not change that (some Polish game dev had done something that Ree freaked out about). That of course was reason enough for ResetEra to ban after 'history of history'. My friend was like: "You're cool, what's wrong with these people? Why are they trying to destroy our friendship?"

The founder of our company also at some point implied or seemed to suggest that someone from ResetEra had contacted him regarding my online behaviour or he could've been pulling my leg based on stories I shared.
In any case in his version of the story he send the person it involved a Jordan Peterson video about free speech or something and didn't hear back.
